We’re Tim and Kim Sundles, and Buffalo Bore Game Preserve is built on our passion for hunting, firearms, and the great outdoors.
With decades of experience, Tim has spent his life honing the craft of hunting and mastering firearm performance, earning respect throughout the hunting industry.
Kim shares that same love for the wild and works hard to make sure every guest feels right at home.

Tim Sundles
Owner and Ballistics expert at Buffalo Bore Ammunition
Born in Idaho, Tim became interested in firearms and everything outdoors by the time he could walk. His knowledge and passion for the outdoors are immense, having hunted around the world. He started making his own ammunition under the watchful eye of his father at the age of 13.
Kim Sundles
Kim, a retired elected prosecutor from Wyoming, is the mother of three adult children, alongside Tim’s three children. Growing up, Kim and her siblings were sent outside to explore nature until dark, fostering her independent, adventurous spirit. Her nurturing qualities complement Tim’s unapologetic, masculine energy, making them a formidable pair in the wild.
Tim and Kim spend a lot of time in South Africa at their Ranch named Buffalo Bore Game Preserve Gannahoek.
It is a 26,000 acre plus property with well over 30 species of wild huntable game animals including Tim’s passion…Cape Buffalo. The property boasts four 5-star guest suites with private baths and showers and offers both hunting and sightseeing packages. Reservations for 2026 will be available when their website launches in 2025.

Christian, born and raised in the Free State, SA, started his hunting career in 2018 in Mozambique where he did his apprenticeship and has since guided in both Botswana and South Africa. He is a passionate hunter and conservationist thru the use of ethical hunting. Chris has guided and is passionate about all his hunts especially hunting Dangerous Game. Chris has worked beside Tim and Kim Sundles and Buffalo Bore Game Preserve Gannahoek since its inception in 2021 and is equally dedicated and responsible for its success.
